Horrible experience that has scarred me for life. PF release surgery 2+ years ago. Haughey promised me that I would return to athletics within 6 months. He ignored my concerns after the surgery that my foot structure was collapsing. Told me that my arch was fine, but I was sitting at the moment. He never checked to see if it collapsed as I stood on it, which is what commonly happens with collapsing arches. Never gave advice on supportive shoes, and I asked often. Never suggested new orthotics.
Well as far as the Dr experience I was happy with the Dr. but the office receptionist is a ROYAL B**** she is very rude and hateful.
If Haughey had at least taken care of my foot after surgery, I would not have the difficulties I have now. My foot cannot handle walking for fitness, because it is prone to metatarsal fractures. I can barely work a 12 hour day as a teacher. No running, cycling, or dancing. He knew better, and just didn't care. I trusted him.
Dr. Houghey did my ankle surgery over 10 years ago and I would go back again if I needed anything done with my feet. His office staff were very kind and courteous and helpful.
