The good:
The hash browns are great. My over-medium eggs were perfect.
The ugly:
Food is great home feel cooking. Wasn't busy but service for like coffee was slow. But still like this place.
Nice environment. Reminds me of having champagne Sunday brunch in Arizona. Personnel nice and helpful with explaining different ways we could order up to have a pleasant meal and enjoy ourselves.
I had the corned beef skillet and it was amazing. More food than I needed. The coffee was hot and fresh. Best thing to have after a cold morning in the blind.
The bad:
I used to drive all the way out to a gas station in the middle of nowhere just to get what I thought was the best Sausage Egg Cheese Biscuit around. Now, I just have to go down Caraway to get one!
I have been to this place nearly every weekend since they opened and not once have I had a poor experience. The staff is always friendly and the food arrives in a timely manner. Also, it's so freaking delicious.
It was literally 60 degrees in the restaurant according to the thermostat on the wall. I got my food in about 20 minutes, the person I came with got hers at 30 and it was cold; there were three other tables when the waitress took our order. The "Heinz" ketchup bottle looked like it had been refilled a thousand times and it tasted really strange.
Chicken fried steak tasted like a frozen patty.
